How to Buy

Sign up to bid on our online auction platform by clicking here.

You’ll need to provide your name, address, phone number, and email address. A credit card is also necessary to sign up for an account. You will not be able to bid without a valid card on file. This is to protect our sellers’ interests as well as ours.

Be sure to sign up for our email newsletters by filling out the form at the bottom of the page. These are different than the notices sent by our auction software – they give you sneak previews of sales coming up, items listed on GunBroker.com, and information on our Buy It Now section of the website.

Bid at your leisure using your computer, tablet, or mobile device. You can even bid naked! Although we do ask that you come fully dressed to the pickup. :)​

The system will always fill in the minimum amount needed to bid, however, you can put in your maximum bid in the second box. A max bid is the highest amount that you are willing to pay for an item and is kept private from other bidders until that amount has been exceeded.

KEEP IN MIND: If you put your max bid in the first box (where the minimum next bid shows), the bid will automatically jump to that price. We don’t suggest this strategy – it isn’t an effective use of the auction process and you may be able to get it cheaper by placing a minimum bid and letting the software bid up to your max bid automatically. Bids can’t be retracted after they’re placed, so ensure you’ve placed the bid properly!​

If a bid is placed in the last 3 minutes of an item’s ending, it will automatically extend another 3 minutes until nobody bids anymore. 

With many of our auctions, we offer a 3% discount on your buyer’s premium if you pay with Cash or Check! You are always able to pay online though, too. See the tutorial below for paying online.​

Please note the dates and location before bidding!

Each auction page will have an area at the top that displays when the pickup/removal will take place.

The address of the pickup is always listed up there too. HINT: The city and state are always in the title of the auction.

Always make sure you have the proper vehicle and all the help and equipment you’ll need to transport items home safely!

Shipping is available on some items – This is a huge advantage to both our buyers AND our sellers!​

*Be sure to pay attention to each listing to see if it’s available for shipping or not. We will NOT ship items that are marked as “No Shipping”.
